Brunching in HTX
If there’s one thing I love, it’s brunch! It’s one of the best parts of the weekend. I’ve been trying out brunch spots in Houston and these are my current brunch favorites!
We Are Vibrant:
$$/ 1931 Fairview, Houston, TX 77019
All of the colors in this place just scream happiness to me. If I was to own a coffee shop or restaurant, I would have it set up with the aesthetics of We Are Vibrant. Another thing I love is that not only is their food amazing, but it’s health conscious! Everything here is gluten free, refined sugar free, non- GMO, and all that bad stuff that leaves you feeling horrible after you eat it.
Moonshiners Southern Table + Bar:
$$/ 1000 Prairie St, Houston, TX 77002, USA
Comfort food brunches are the perfect Sunday brunch! Right in the heart of downtown, Moonshiners is the place for you to get your shrimp & grits or chicken & waffles fix. There’s plenty of room and longer tables which makes it great for a group too!
$$/ 2119 Leeland St, Houston, TX 77003
I was immediately sold when I walked into Leeland House and their was a mini coffee bar inside (I know, shocking). Not only did they have great lattes, but their breakfast hash was amazing. With the cutest patio seating, Leeland House is the best when Houston decides to not be so hot and you want to enjoy brunch outside with your family or friends!
Dish Society has been a favorite brunch spot of mine for quite some time now! I love when restaurants are farm to table. Dish Society sources a majority of their items locally from suppliers such as Atkinson Farms, Black Hill Ranch, Ives Creek Organics, and Slow Dough Bread Company, and others! Since it's sourced locally, their menu changes seasonally but I've yet to have a bad meal there. They also have a handful of juices and great lattes!
$$/ 602 Studewood St Houston, TX 77007
I ate here today and after the life changing shrimp and boudin stuffed omelette I had, it needed to be added on this list. Located in the Heights, Ritual is another great spot for a comfort food brunch. With options such as the Houston Breakfast Extravaganza that comes with a bottle of champagne, this is definitely perfect for groups!
$$/ 5161 San Felipe Suite 390 Houston, TX 77056
Adair Kitchen, in the Galleria area of Houston, is a great place for a quick brunch. You order everything before you sit at your table, so if you're really hungry this is a plus because you don't have to wait to order! Only downside is this place can get pretty busy as it's getting more popular, so depending on what time you stop by there may be a line.
Let me know if you try any of these restaurants out or if you have any suggestions for brunching in HTX! :)
